Module 6

This module will follow closely questions 1-48 of the Prima secundae of the Summa Theologiae. We first consider Thomas’ analysis of the elements and morality of human acts, then we turn to his teaching on the passions of the soul, including how our passions, guided by the will, may lead us to happiness. The module will build upon the earlier Module 5, Thomas on the Human Being, and will prepare for later modules that cover the virtues.
